Learning Intention: Students will understand in depth, the role and characteristics of parliament and subordinate authorities in law making.
Tasks:
1. As a class, students will watch the DVD, 'Inside Parliament'.
2. Copy the table from the board which outlines the structure of the Australian Parliamentary System
3. Complete the 'Subordinate Authority Activity' below.
4. Students should identify and record the Strengths and Weaknesses of parliament as a law-maker.
